Governor Okorocha Returns From Medical Treatment Abroad



Imo state Governor, Rochas Okorocha has expressed gratitude to the people of the state for their prayers and concern while he was away for medical treatment abroad following an  auto accident.

The Governor who said this while addressing journalists shortly after his arrival from the United Kingdom at the Government House Owerri, noted that he was involved in a minor auto accident that took him to abroad for proper medical treatment.

“I was involved in a motor accident which gave me a cut. In sustained a minor head injury and I had to travel out of the country after brief treatment at a private hospital at Orlu, to re-examine the position of the injury that I sustained, I want to tell that I am fine, healthy and I am grateful to God Almighty”.

Rochas Okorocha used the opportunity to advise motorists to be careful while driving and avoid  drinking of alcohol to avoid accident on the road.

The Governor also made a token of two hundred thousand Naira (N200,000) to the man he had the accident with, Hon. Chief Osita Patrick Nnewuihe from Oru East to enable him fix his car properly and to take care of himself.

In his speech, Hon. Chief Osita Patrick Nnewuihe thanked Governor Okorocha for his magnanimity and love for him and his family during the incident.
