Labour Unions in Nigeria vow to Resist Proposed Decentralisation of Labour Laws

Senate President, David Mark has assured Nigerian workers that the National Assembly will review its proposal to remove the National Minimum wage Law from the Exclusive to Concurrent legislative list.

Mark made the assurance while addressing a protest by affiliates of the Nigeria Labour and Trade Union Congress who marched to the Assembly in protest of the move which they say will place welfare of workers in the hands of corrupt state governors.
