The group of seven breakaway governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have announced their merger with the All progressives Congress (APC).
Five of the seven governors today met at the Kano State lodge in
Abuja to finalize the decision to breakaway from the ruling party early
Present at the meeting was the former Governor of Lagos Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and former Head of State Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.
However, Niger state Governor, Babangida Aliyu has denied being part of the merger arrangement, insisting that due consultations were not made before the move was consummated.
In a latest statement, Jigawa state Governor, Sule Lamido also denied being part of the merger arrangement, he insisted that nobody can force him out of the ruling PDP.
