Ebola: Younger Sister Of Late Dr. Adadevoh tests positive

Late Dr. Stella Adadevoh

Despite ongoing moves by the Federal and Lagos state governments to curtail the spread of the deadly Ebola virus which was brought into the country by Liberian-American, Patrick Sawyer there are reports that the disease wont just stop spreading.

Latest news on the disease indicate that Amy Ngozi Adadevoh, younger sister of the late Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh, has reportedly tested positive for the Ebola virus.

It would be recalled that Miss Adadevoh had been a suspected case, but the suspicion has been confirmed following a blood test.

Reports say she has been moved to isolation at the Ebola treatment center in Lagos. She joins two other patients there undergoing evaluation and treatment.

Reports also say Dr. Ade Joroh, a patient at the isolation center who is infected with the Ebola virus, is recovering and responding to treatment. He is expected to recover fully, although medical professionals are awaiting blood test results.
