Beware of "fake" Labour party officials-Salisu Mohammed tells President elect Buhari.

Chairman of the caretaker committee of the Labour Party, Salisu Mohammed has urged President elect, Retired General Muhammadu Buhari to beware of a group of persons whom he described as impostors masquerading as Labour party officials.

In a congratulatory message to Buhari, Mohammed declared that the party under his leadership is the authentic Labour party insisting that the faction led by Abdul Salam is fake and sponsored by Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State.
Mohammed in the message said it is disassociating itself from the crocodile tears of joy and congratulatory messages of the Abdul Salam faction which it said championed the campaign of hate and calumny against the President elect prior to the election.
He also applauded President Goodluck Jonathan for keeping his promise to organize a peaceful, free, credible and transparent election and for the uncommon courage and exemplary statesmanship he displayed when he graciously conceded defeat to the opposition.
While wishing the incoming administration a successful and peaceful tenure, the labour party urged the President elect to ensure that he embarks on programmes and policies aimed at ensuring national cohesion, peace, security, stability and prosperity of the country.
