Nigerian TV Station Begins Subtitling President Buhari so Nigerians Can Understand Him

The idea behind subtitles is when the original content is in a different language than that meant for the audience or when words are not audible enough, not correctly spoken or mumbled.

But in a move considered new in Nigeria, Channels Television (as seen in the screen shot above) has just started subtitling President Buhari so that Nigerians can understand him.

For me, i have listened to the former General and have no problem understanding what he says except for some occasions when words are not properly pronounced.

but what do y'all think about this new innovation, is it necessary?
