Photo of Dead Nigerian Soldiers Explained

There has been reports that over one hundred Nigerian troops involved in the battle with Boko Haram militants in the North East have been missing and some photos have even surfaced on the internet purportedly suggesting that some of the troops were killed by the militants.
Clear evidence to back up the assertion.

However, one Idris Ahmed while writing on his facebook page has explained the photo of the dead troops; according to him; "...enemies of the Nigerian state from within are peddling this photo as that of the supposed 103/105 soldiers that were ambushed and killed by Boko Haram in Borno state recently. This is NOT true!

"This is an old photo of our brave soldiers who died when their vehicle collided with a fuel tanker at Semti village near Godowoli town along Bauchi – Potiskum highway. The soldiers were returning from UN/ECOMOG operation. Look very carefully, you will notice that the soldiers all suffered severe burns. Other soldiers were completely burnt beyond recognition.
