With the new month comes bundles of fresh and exciting events in Lagos. Though there will be dozens of events all over Lagos, here are specially few handpicked popular ones in August that may interest you.

  1. JACKSONS IN LAGOS
It holds August 10, 2016 by 7:00 PM at Eko Hotel & Suites Kuramo Waters, Lagos.
This is an epic event worth memories not only for the “Jacksons”, but for their numerous friends and fans globally. It’s on record that “The Jacksons” have more fans in Nigeria than any other African country, hence the golden anniversary tour is to show appreciation for the displayed love and loyalty of over 5 decades, with the tour “Give-Backs”.

  1. RAGGANATIONS
On August 6, 2016 by 10:00 AM at Ishahaji Beach, Ojo, Lagos.
The fun starts with a thirty minutes boat cruise from the Foreshore Harbours through Ikoyi to Banana Island to Victoria Island to Inagbe to Nigerdock , then Ilashe waterfront before finally berthing at the peaceful Ishahayi Beach. This is a full fledged party Jamaican themed party. There will be a lot of fun, entertainments, games and dance.

  1. LET LOOSE SUMMER '16 WITH AYE X WAVOS, DJ YINNIE AND DJ BONNIE
This event will hold on August 5, 2016 by 9:00 PM at Vantage Beach Resort Hotel, Lagos.
Let Loose is an exciting new rave brand seeking to change the face of nightlife. In addition to the music by Aye x WAV.os, DJ Yinnie and DJ Bonnie, therewill also be two fully stocked bars and an outdoor barbeque, among other concessions and stands.The LOOSE TENT will have a shisha bar on the ground level, and the upper level will have a comfortable lounge area for ravers who prefer a more laid-back and luxurious experience.
  1. FESTIVAL OF INDIA
The event will be holding on Aug 13 2016 at 10:00 am at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos.
The festival is a collaboration between International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) and the India Disapora in Lagos designed to bridge the cultural gap between India and Nigeria and thereby forge a better understanding between the two countries.
The goal of the Festival of India is to “Celebrate cultural unity and diversity for national and global peace.
