FIFA Rankings: Nigeria moves 10 places up

Nigeria were one of the big movers in the latest FIFA world rankings, while Ghana have dropped a massive eight places.

The Super Eagles have shot up to eighth in Africa – and 50th overall – after jumping 10 places; the same as Egypt, who are up to fourth in the continent.

However, the biggest African movers were Burkina Faso, who jumped 17 places to go level with Nigeria.


On the flipside, Ghana tumbled down to 53rd (7th in Africa) after falling eight places.

Senegal remain the highest ranked African country, one place better off than Ivory Coast and Tunisia.
